DeMarcus Cousins 'felt like a kid on Christmas' in Warriors debut | NBA Sound
DeMarcus Cousins says he "felt like a kid on Christmas" scoring 14 points as the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-94. Cousins compliments the Warriors organization for making his return as smooth and easy as possible. He continues to say it felt good to get a dunk on his first basket back from a torn achilles injury. Cousins says he "was extremely nervous" before the game as he reached out to family to help calm him down. He laughs as he describes getting a standing ovation from the Clippers fans as he calls the applause "the fakest love he's ever received in his life." Cousins finishes by explaining that the Warriors have a lot of room to grow as they haven't even all practiced together yet.
